An apprenticeship at Home Fix Scotland allows you to grow and develop your skills with a wide range of opportunities available to support your career within the build environment.

We are committed to supporting our people with structured training, reviews and open conversations around career progression. 

We take the process of selecting, investing in, and developing our apprentices seriously. 

We are recruiting 7 trade apprentices:

  • 3 Joiners
  • 2 Plasterers
  • 1 Plumber
  • 1 Electrician

The apprenticeships are for 4 years and you will work towards attainment of the SCQF Level 6 qualification.  Working hours are 37 per week.   

Applicants must have, or be expecting to achieve, 2 National 5’s (or equivalent) in English and a Craft Related Subject such as Craft & Design, Practical Woodworking, Practical Craft Skills, Design & Manufacture or Design & Technology or have completed a relevant Foundation Apprenticeship.  In addition, you must be willing to attend work and college and commit to meeting agreed timescales and targets in relation to attaining the SCQF Level 6 qualification within 4 years.

The successful applicants will progress with training and experience to become fully qualified.
