The Board

Home Fix Scotland is governed by a Board of up to five directors who combine their skills and experience to make the best decisions regarding the services that we deliver.  Not only do they reflect the interests of the communities in which we work, but the Board also provide overall strategic leadership and direction for Home Fix Scotland; ensuring effective governance and financial management.

Christopher Morgan (Chair)


Christopher Morgan (Chair)

As well as being Chair of the Home Fix Scotland Board, Christopher is an RCH Board member. He is a Chartered Company Secretary and solicitor. Christopher is a Non-Executive Director and Audit & Risk Committee member at River Clyde Homes and also a Trustee of The Back Up Trust charity, a member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Regulatory Committee and a Member of Court at the University of the West of Scotland. He also sits on an advisory board for The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea’s social housing tenant management business.

Christopher joined the RCH Board in September 2020. 

Jillian Moffat


Jillian is the current Chair of the River Clyde Homes Board. Jillian is a business professional with specialist expertise in organisational development, human resource management, strategy and business planning and change management.  

Having spent more than 20 years in Scottish Enterprise in various business development, inward investment, training and strategic relationship management roles, Jillian is currently Head of Open Innovation and Team Leader for High Value Manufacturing Supply Chain development.  Jillian is a Fellow of the IoD and has held various Board appointments within the further education and social enterprise sectors.

Paul McDevitt

Paul McDevitt

Paul McDevitt joined the Board in 2019.  He is a highly experienced business leader with expertise in business strategy, change management, collaboration, and leadership development.

Paul has worked in the UK construction and property sector for over 20 years, previously for main contractors and most recently as Managing Director of TUV SUD’s Business Advisory Service division in the UK, which specialised in building asset data management and building information modelling. 

He has recently set up McDevitt and Co Limited a specialist business improvement consultancy for the construction and property sector. He works with business leaders from across the construction sector from all size of business from micro through to international corporates, helping them improve productivity, develop their people, and increase profitability.

Derek Ferguson


Derek joined as Managing Director  in 2021 and with over 30 years trades and management experience he has established an outstanding reputation in services across wide-ranging sectors including servicing, commercial, domestic, public-sector contracts and social housing.

Derek has held key roles in Scotland's leading construction, build & maintenance businesses and has built strong partnerships with key customers in local authorities & housing associations.

Liz Taylor

Liz Taylor

With 30+ years specialising in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), Liz developed her career in brand marketing, new product development and project management. She worked on a number of well-known household brand names within the food and drinks industry; both in the UK and overseas.

Forming her own consultancy some years ago, she is also a member of the Chartered Institute of marketing (CIM), the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and Glasgow Chamber of Commerce. She is a past president of Scottish Women in Business (SWIB)

Liz joined  the board of Volunteer Scotland in October 2021, and is interim vice-chair. She volunteers for Victim Support Scotland providing support for people in court and in the community, as well as serving on the board as a trustee between 2012-2019.

John Wright (Executive Director, Group Services)


John joined the RCH Group in December 2020 and is responsible the financial affairs and financial strategy of the organisation, whilst leading on HR, ICT, procurement, legal, governance and other key resources functions. He has two decades of experience in the housing sector, providing leadership and direction across multi-disciplinary teams in numerous housing groups of different sizes, including traditional and stock transfer organisations.
